Club sailing is all about having fun on the water and getting the opportunity to become the best sailor that you can be. Dinghy sailing is one of the most exciting ways to experience our sport, and one of the best ways to develop core skills important for all kinds of watersports.

EUSC has five teams competing in team racing events across the country, from the Scottish Student Sailing series to the Cam Cup and Oxford Magnum. We sail every weekend, either training at Loch Ore or competing.

Trials for teams are held at the start of the semester and open to all. So don’t worry if you’ve never team raced before – there’s plenty of opportunity to learn through weekly training and theory sessions!

The club also offers weekly recreational sailing sessions for all sailors. It’s a great way to get on the water and have fun! We have taster sessions at the beginning of each semester, where you can just turn up and sail. Whether you have never set foot in a boat before or you are looking to sharpen your skills in some fun races, we have something for you!
