Get Involved!
Club sailing is all about having fun on the water and getting the opportunity to become the best sailor that you can be. Dinghy sailing is one of the most exciting ways to experience our sport, and one of the best ways to develop core skills important for all kinds of watersports.
We run sessions as often as we can on Sundays, currently splitting the group into morning and afternoon sessions to allow for social distancing.
All of our club sailing takes place on Linlithgow Loch, in the shadow of the beautiful Linlithgow Palace (birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots). We meet in Edinburgh to collect club wetsuits and buoyancy aids before heading off on the short train ride to Linlithgow.
At our sessions, members of the club’s dinghy teams will be give instruction to guide club sailors through their RYA Levels. Beginners will work towards Level 2, and intermediates towards Level 3.
We hope you can join us to develop your sailing skills and make new friends. If you have any enquiries about our programme of club sailing, please contact the dinghy secretary Charlie Rothwell via dinghysec@eusc.org.uk
