We offer club sailing for all of our club members three times a week. These are aimed at complete beginners on Wednesdays and Sunday mornings, and more experienced sailors on Sunday afternoons. To sign up for any of these sessions, come down to our Wednesday night social before the date you’d like to go. Sign-up starts at 8:30 pm so make sure you’re there sharp. If you are interested in more competition, see our teams pages. We also have RYA courses which include level 2 (basic skills) for beginners, Seamanship Skills for intermediates (if there is enough interest), RYA first aid course and RYA dinghy instructor. See the RYA page for more details.
At all of our dinghy sessions, we have qualified instructors on hand to teach you the basics or to build on your present abilities, all in our six brand new fireflies. Fireflies are two man boats which are relatively stable and simple to learn on, as well as being quick, competitive and exciting racers. We also have a rescue boat to aid in teaching. All of these sessions take place at Linlithgow Loch which is a stunning loch next to Linlithgow Palace.
